While I was cutting the grass, the girls wanted to help, so I let them sweep the grass off the driveway. They also swept the sidewalks. They did a great job! If you are wondering what the difference between girls and boys, this may be one example.....

Pinky day...First Trip to the Zoo

Today is pinky day....that is also known as Friday. This way the girls know when Mommy will be home. ( Monday is thumb day...and they count from there)

It was a little bumpy going to the Zoo....we left too late and ended up parking in the back 40. There were several schools there..so there was a ton of school buses and to quote Abby..." These buses are driving me peanuts."

......................Week 1 Lessons learned

The first week is over. I did survive. Again not that hard....Brittany came home on Friday and we went on vacation...real tough...
I will save the vaction details for my wife to put in our family blog.
I will share with you a very valuable lesson...never tell your daughter the outfit she is going to change into ... {as you are walking out the door (already late) to start the day and get to work}.... is ugly....needless to say Abby had a nuclear meltdown. On May 7 2009, I was the world's worst parent. {I got the T-shirt and everything.....} It gets better, when I got home the girls had cleaned up the basement and made me birthday cards. That only solidified my rank as the world's worst parent on May 7 2009. I am surprised that Keith Oberman did not make me the Worst Person in the World...he probably did not have enough time to fit me in...considering how much time his man crush on Obama consumes..oops my political bias showed...sorry

Yes folks, we are moving to Omaha NE. Brittany got her dream job. Hey. I left an entire country so moving to Omaha is no big deal. But here is the catch....It will be me and the girls and the dog for about 2 months. That means I have become a single parent. Brittany will be comming home at least 4-5 times but otherwise, it is all me. Granted, the kids still go to daycare..so really its not going to be hard....I am going to strive to make FUN,FUN, FUN....
